{Review} Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia

Hey there! Today's review, unfortunately, is for a discontinued product that I feel still deserves a review because I genuinely like it and to be honest, I didn't expect to. If you do want to pick up one of these balms I'm sure you can find it online somewhere or on clearance at Sephora because I only picked this one up a couple of weeks ago.

Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia

This review is for the Sephora hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in the shade Funky Fuchsia. I've been on a neon kick lately, so anything bright and summery really sucks me in. I don't really have a lot of bright lip products in my collection because everything takes me so long to finish, especially lipsticks and lip glosses, that I tend to only purchase shades I know I will wear a lot.

What really made me want to try this was one, the price. I got it for five bucks on clearance, which I was really happy about. Two, the packaging looks pretty cute with the little red cap. Three, who doesn't need some lip balm? I know my lips are always begging for some moisture in the summer.

Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia

Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia

The cool thing about the balm is that it looks almost jelly-ish. The lipstick bullet is transparent, but surprisingly delivers a good amount of pigmentation. Isn't it pretty??

Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia (Swatch)

The shade Funky Fuchsia is a cool toned pink with a bit of a purple tone to it. You can definitely see the purple on the lips. I really like this shade. It makes my skin look more tanned and my eyes more blue!

It goes on A LOT brighter than it looks in the tube!

When I wiped it off my lips for the first time I was very surprised by how bright it was on the napkin. It looks even brighter in real life.

It stained my skin!!!

In addition, it acts a little like a stain! When I take it off my lips (or tried to wipe the swatch off my wrist) the balm came off but left a lot of color behind, leaving my lips looking matte and flushed. So pretty and easy!

Although I loved the pigmentation and the cool jelly look of the lipstick itself, I wouldn't really call this a balm. It does initially feel like a very waxy lip balm. It reminds me a lot of the Burt's Bees lip balm textures--waxy and not very shiny, not much slip to them either. That's good in that it'll take longer to go through the tube because the balm will last longer on the lips, but not so good because I didn't find this balm to be anywhere near as moisturizing as the Burt's Bees. I personally favor more slippery, thin, shiny balms, so I don't really like the texture of this product. That being said, the texture doesn't bother me enough to not use this product. I just wouldn't use this for a lip balm. When it comes to smell and taste, it has a very very faint smell, nothing cloying at all, and it doesn't really taste like anything. I think for the price I got it, $5, I don't mind the pretty and colorful addition to my collection, especially in time for summer!

Tried it? Loved it? Hated it? Let me know in comments!

{Haul} Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale + Cosmetic Company Outlet (CCO)

Hey there everyone! So I went shopping. Again. Ya, so I'm not too good at not spending money ahaha. That's ok tho because I think I'll stock up over the summer and that way I won't have to worry about buying much while I'm at uni (totally rationalizing here haha).

1. Bath & Body Works
Before I get into what I bought, I must mention that I've never been that into Bath & Body Works. It's not that I have anything against the store, but prior to trying one of their Triple Moisture Body Creams, the Dancing Waters one (full review here and I also featured it in an empties post here) I've never really thought of their products as effective. I've always kinda looked at them as fluff lotions--smell good but do nothing. My opinion has changed so much since trying that one cream that I've decided to switch over from the lotions I've used in the past to their creams. I'll have reviews on the scents coming up, but for now here's what I bought!

L-->R: Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream in Black Raspberry Vanilla, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Malibu Heat, Forever Sunshine and White Citrus.

I'm in love with this stuff! They discontinued Dancing Waters so I got another clean scent, the White Citrus. I've never been into lemony scents, but this stuff smells delicious! Along with White Citrus I'm most excited to try out the Warm Vanilla Sugar and Malibu Heat. I've never really been into vanilla scents because I used to get really bad headaches and any cloying scent would trigger them. Lately my headaches have been under control and I think that's one of the reasons I've been on a vanilla kick later. And I was interested in Malibu Heat because it smells so summery to me. A mix of pinapple and coconut but not too much of either scent. Just very fresh.

And I got a good deal on these as well! They were having a "Buy 3 Get 2 Free" sale on their signature items so I got Warm Vanilla Sugar, White Citrus, and Malibu Heat for full price and then got two of their Creamy Body Wash (featured below) for free. The other two lotions, Black Raspberry Vanilla and Forever Sunshine were on sale for $3, so I got a good deal on those too!

L-->R: Bath & Body Works Creamy body Wash with Triple Moisture Complex in Warm Vanilla Sugar and White Citrus.

I am absolutely in love with these as well! I tried the Secret Wonderland at a friends house and although that scent didn't really appeal to me much, the formula of this shower gel is spot on! It is so moisturizing and it lathers beautifully! So creamy and foamy! I got these two to go along with the two lotions and I can definitely see these becoming my holy grail bath products!

I've tried the regular Bath & Body Works shower gels, the ones that come int he hourglass-ish container and I love these so much more. These are about a dollar fifty more expensive but there are always sales going on too. I will have a full review coming soon!

2. Cosmetic Company Outlet (CCO)

L-->R: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place ShadowCreme in 11 Pink Amethyst and 12 Silver Star.

I only picked up two things at the CCO, two of the Estee Lauder cream eyeshadows. These are similar to the MAC Paint Pots and for the price, $13 each, can't be beat!

L-->R: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place ShadowCreme in 11 Pink Amethyst and 12 Silver Star.

The shades I got are the more wearable shades. I love Pink Amethyst. I wore it the day after I hauled this stuff and it makes my blue eyes pop so nicely. And Silver Star, which I'm wearing today, looks so pretty when paired with any warm brown shades. I'll do a full review with swatches soon, including the one I already own, number 26 called Midnight Kohl, a black shot through with multicolored fine shimmer.

I'm happy with the products I've picked up at the CCO, but to be honest, I really wasn't all that interested in the rest of what was there. Lately I've been really focused on finishing the massive amounts of products I have that the thought of buying specifically more makeup makes me cringe lol (hence the large amount of body lotions lol). I'll keep you posted on my progress finishing products. I've got an empties post coming in a couple of days so keep a look out!

So that's my haul. See anything you like? Tried any of these? Did some hauling of your own? Let me know in comments!

{My Most Worn} Lip Glosses

Hey there everyone! I just thought I'd quickly share with you some of my most worn lip glosses. If these were eyeshadows you'd probably see pan on them right now. I don't wear gloss every day, so for me to use up so much of these glosses is pretty damn amazing in my opinion haha! They are all fairly wearable shades that I've been wearing a lot during the day or out at night. And I apologize for the quality of these pics. They were taken on my iPhone.

L-->R: Urban Decay Pocket Rocket in Kirk, Nars Lip Gloss in Chihuahua, Sally Hansen Liptonic Gem Gloss in Embellished, Lancome Juicy Tube in Guava Enchantment, Sephora Nectar Shine Hydrating Care Lip Gloss SPF 8 in Mango Shine, and Estee Lauder Tender Lip Balm SPF 15 in Tender Peach.

If I've worn a gloss in the past 6 months, chances are it's one of these. Click on the links under each gloss to see what I've written about them in the past!

Urban Decay Pocket Rocket in Kirk: Smells amazing!!! Like brown sugar, creme brulee, vanilla, etc just soooo sweet and warm and good! I'm not crazy about the other shades in the range, but this one is very nude on my lips, evens out my color, and gives great shine. It has a brush applicator instead of a doe foot, so application can be sometimes messy as the brush tends to deposit a little too much product, but given how good it smells, I can forgive the brush haha. I highly recommend this gloss to anyone who loves a good smelling gloss. It's delicious!
          More here and here!

Nars Lip Gloss in Chihuahua: Doesn't smell that good lol, definitely nothing like the Pocket Rocket, but it's bearable. You probably can't tell from the picture, but I'm about half way done with this gloss. It's a very nice warm matte pink (swatches at the end of the post). It's one of those my lips but better glosses. It's very shiny too. Just an all around nice gloss for every day.
          More here!

Sally Hansen Liptonic Gem Gloss in Embellished: I've talked about this gloss sooooo much. I love it! It is just so pretty and purpley and shimmery haha! It also has a brush applicator, but this one, unlike the Pocket Rocket, gives just the right amount. I got this gloss for a buck at the Dollar Tree and wish I had a backup as they don't sell it there or anywhere else that I know of.
More here and here and here and here!

These next three glosses I've almost finished.

L-->R: Lancome Juicy Tube in Guava Enchantment, Sephora Nectar Shine Hydrating Care Lip Gloss SPF 8 in Mango Shine, and Estee Lauder Tender Lip Balm SPF 15 in Tender Peach.

When I say I've almost used them up I mean they are really nearly gone. Maybe a couple months of wear between the three, but I'm hoping to finish them before the end of summer. Keep a look out for them in my empties posts coming up :)

Lancome Juicy Tube in Guava Enchantment: I got this gloss at TJMaxx or Marshalls for around five dollars a few years ago and it's one of those glosses that gives a little color to my lips but nothing too much. With this on my lips look mostly clear, but brighter and fresher. It's super glossy and has a good lasting time. And it smells fruity! I'm not going to repurchase any more of the Juicy Tubes because I've been using them for so long that honestly from experience, I think some of the drugstore glosses are just as good.

Sephora Nectar Shine Hydrating Care Lip Gloss SPF 8 in Mango Shine: This is actually a fairly new gloss that I am shocked how much I've been using. I got it on clearance at Sephora for $5 and I love it! It smells a faintly fruity/citrus-y and is a sheer shimmery orange. This makes my eyes look so blue and just goes so well with my skin tone that no matter what eye makeup I'm wearing, this looks amazing on me. It's a thicker texture, almost like the Chanel Glossimers (gel/creme like) but is not sticky or tacky in any way. It never dries my lips out which is a plus!

Estee Lauder Tender Lip Balm SPF 15 in Tender Peach: I bought this gloss and a deeper/pinker shade called Tender Berry so long ago. It was one of the first items I bought at a store counter (as opposed to Sephora). I like it. It is very pigmented but can be sheered out, is moisturizing, and very glossy. It gives my lips a touch of color and makes them look very healthy. I think I would like these better if they didn't smell like SPF. It doesn't bother me too much, but combined with the not so nice taste, it can be a bit much if I've got a headache. Nevertheless, it's been one of my go to shades because I've been very determined to finish them haha
          More here and here!

And finally some swatches!

{Haul} Dollar Store, MAC, Sephora & Target

Hey there everyone! I've got a haul for you today! Rare, I know, because I've been so focused on finishing up a lot of my makeup lately that I haven't bought anything in a long while. Let me know if you want reviews on any of the stuff below! Enjoy!

1. Dollar Tree
I was at the mall and the dollar store (don't remember the exact name of it -- sorry) carried the full line of Jordana cosmetics. I wanted to pick up a few shadows because I've heard some pretty good things online. That and I was planning on buying a MAC 15 pan palette and figured I could fill some of the empty spaces with a few good basic colors

Clockwise: White Lie, Pink of Me, Bronzeville, Total Blackout, Ms. Brown
Clockwise: White Lie, Pink of Me, Bronzeville, Total Blackout, Ms. Brown

I wanted to try out Bronzeville because I heard that it is a dupe for MAC's Amber Lights, which I've actually finished in the past. Bronzeville is very very close. The texture and finish is a bit off, but on the eye it looks identical. I wanted to try Pink of Me because it looked similar to MAC's Yogurt, but they're not really all that close. Yogurt is matte while Pink of Me has an opalescent sheen to it.

Overall, these shadows are very nice, especially White Lie, Bronzeville, and Ms. Brown. They are a little more powdery than most shadows, so you need to be careful when applying them, but for the most part they are nice. The only shade I didn't like was Total Blackout. I hit pan on my Laura Mercier Deep Night eyeshadow (see here) and I wanted to try out another black. I hate this one by Jordana. I read online that people compared this to a matte black from MAC, that it's supposedly that good, but I don't agree at all. It's very powdery, I'm used to a more firmly pressed Laura Mercier black. It made a mess when I went to apply it. And it's not very black. Compared to my all time favorite black, LM Deep Night, this one looks almost grey and washed out.  Other than this shadow, though, the other ones are great.

2. MAC
MAC Pro Colour Palette, Eyeshadows in All that Glitters (L) and Twinks (R)

I didn't get much from MAC. I finally picked up their 15 pan palette, which I'm in love with. Between all my MAC shadows, the Jordana ones I picked up, and the Lancome ones I've depotted, I've got more than enough colors to fill up 15 slots. I want to get another one already and I've only had this one for a couple of weeks!
MAC Eyeshadows in All That Glitters (L) and Twinks (R)

I also got the eyeshadows in All That Glitters and Twinks. For me these past few weeks, these have become my go to day colors. I love how warm and pretty they look on my lids and how they bring out my blue eyes. They make my eyes glow!

Now that I've bought a few shades in pans, I've gotta say that I will never again buy a potted shadow from MAC. Depotting them is just such a pain and hassle. And putting them in a palette just saves so much space. I live in a dorm for most of the year, so anything that saves me some room is great in my book. Let me know if you guys wanna see what I filled my 15 pan palette with. Most of the shades are everyday shades.

3. Sephora
So I went into Sephora a few times, not really intending to buy anything, just wanting to see what they had and they had this whole section of clearanced stuff out. Now, if you shop at Sephora, you know they rarely have sale stuff out in the store. Usually it's only listed online, and that annoys me because I'll want to buy something but I refuse to pay more shipping than the item is work. Anyway, all the stuff I picked up is Sephora Brand, but they did have a few other brands there. All but one of the items I bought was on sale for just $5!

Clockwise: Sephora White Blasted, Glamour, Star, Anti-Shine Primer

I got the Sephora by OPI White Blasted nail polish, their version of the OPI crackle polishes. It's ok. Application is a bit tricky because on some finishes (like matte nail polishes) it won't crackle, which is annoying. I got two lipsticks. I've never tried Sephroa Brand lipstick before, and I've been craving lip stuff recently. The first is Lip Attitude in Glamour, the second is the Lip Attitude in Star. They also had the Anti-Shine Primer, which I'm going to use after I finish my Rimmel one and what little is left of my Laura Mercier primer.

L-->R: Lip Attitude in Glamour and Star

I'm loving Glamour at the moment. It's a light, glossy pink color that looks really nice with my tan right now. It smells a little weird, but I can tolerate it. Star on the other hand I actually returned, it was that bad. It smelled soooo bad! I put it on and instant headache. It's a shame because the color is really pretty. Kind of a lipstick version of Nars Belize gloss, only with more gold glitter. Super pretty! Too bad it smells and tastes like burning plastic.

L-->R: Sephroa Balm in Coral Twist, Hot Hues Neon Balm in Funky Fuchsia

These last two items I got on another trip to Sephora. The first is the new Sephora Be You Lip Balm in Coral Twist. I got this because I thought it was on sale for $5 on the sale rack, so I couldn't swatch it or anything. I found out later when I got home and looked at my receipt that it was actually $12 and when I swatched it I was even more disappointed because it applies pretty much clear. I'm going to keep it anyway because I like how it feels on my lips and it doesn't have a weird taste or smell. Would I buy it again? Nope.

Sephora Balm in Coral Twist, Hot Hues Neon Balm in Funky Fuchsia

The other item I got was one of the limited edition balms. Its called the Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm in Funky Fuchsia. It's soo pretty! It's got this jelly clear look to it. I know Clarins made some a while back and so did Maybelline, but I just wasn't willing to spend the money on them, given that I knew they were probably going to apply clear. I was so surprised when this balm applied very very pigmented on my lips. It made them look almost stained! I the formula of the Be You Lip Balm better, but the pigmentation of the Neon Lip Balm is stunning. It is a more waxy balm though. I'll review both.

4. Target
I'm in love with Target. I swear, you can get anything and everything there, it's amazing.

Almay Eye Makeup Removing Liquid, Banana Boat SPF 15 Tanning Oil

I didn't get much this time. I ran out of my all time favorite makeup remover, the Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Removing Liquid (full review and test pictures here!) and picked up a replacement. I've gone through three bottles of this stuff, and this is my fourth, which says a lot. I tend to always try different things, but I've gone back to this stuff time and time again, which says a lot.

I also picked up the Banana Boat Protective Tanning Oil with SPF 15. I know, I know tanning is bad, but I just can't stand the fake stuff anymore. I've been using the L'Oreal Sublime stuff and I'm starting to really hate it cuz it's such a pain and it fades really weird, all patchy and gross. I finally got to the beach this past Thursday, and this oil worked like a charm! It smells delicious, like bananas, gave me a light golden brown tan after one use without any redness or irritation anywhere. And my skin felt so soft after too! I'll do a full review, but so far I'm absolutely loving it!

So that's my haul! I'll be putting up reviews later this coming week! If there's anything you specifically want a review on or swatches let me know in comments!

{Review} Lavera Trend Sensitive Lipgloss in No. 3 Berry

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry

Lavera is a natural skin care and cosmetics brand sold in Target (though I don't think Target carries it any more). I bought this gloss a few months back and just never got around to reviewing it. The brand is designed for people with sensitive skin looking for natural, paraben and cruelty free products with beneficial ingredients.  The gloss is made with minerals and is fragrance free, meaning no artificial scents or dyes. Personally, I'm not really into natural/organic makeup and skin care, but I thought I'd give this gloss a try because the shade was pretty and it was on clearance.

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry

This gloss is designed to be very moisturizing as it's made with organic johoba oil.

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry

The gloss comes packaged in a slim tube with  silver accents. The packaging itself, while it's not bad, doesn't really apeal much to me either. It seems plain and honestly, a bit dated. It seems similar to the packaging of many other mineral brands out there. Not bad, but nothing special either. It holds 0.22 fl oz (6.5 ml) of product, a very good amount.

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry (Applicator)

The applicator is a standard doe foot applicator that works well with the thin formula of the product.

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry (Swatch)

Isn't the shade pretty? It's a very pretty peachy golden shimmery shade. Actually, its called Berry but it's the farthest thing from a berry shade I can think of. I think purples and reds when I think berry, not a peachy pink gloss.

This shade is actually not available anymore because when they changed up the packaging they redid some of the shades as well. On their website they say that one of the newer shades, No. 4 Almond Kiss is similar to this one if you're interested.

Lavera Trend Sensitive Lip Gloss in No. 3 Berry (Lip Swatch)

I was a little disapointed when I first put this on my lips. The texture of this gloss is very thin and the gorgous swatch on my hand and in the tube didn't translate to my lips. On my lips it looks like a clear gloss with golden shimmer in it. Not bad, but I was hoping it would look like the first swatch.

The texture of this gloss is different from most other glosses I've tried, which tend to be thick and tacky. The formula of this one is very thin and slick, most likely due to the oils in it. Because it's thinner, it doesn't last long, about 2 hours without eating or drinking. On the plus side, it's one of the most moisturizing glosses I've ever tried. My lips feel soooo soft after I wear this stuff, never dry and flaky. It's like wearing a balm and gloss at the same time. The gloss contains a whole host of oils including coconut, jojoba, argan oil and cocoa butter. I sometime wear it in place of a balm, it's that moisturizing.

My only real complaint, other than the lack of pigmentation, is the smell. I don't know how to describe the smell, kind of like if you mixed an herbal scent with a plasticky scent. It's not absolutely unbearable, but it tends to linger on the lips.

For the full price, around $17, it's not the best gloss I've tried. That being said, I know how difficult it can be to find good quality natural paraben and cruelty free cosmetics out there, which is why I can forgive this gloss the scent and lack of pigmentation, especially given how moisturizing it is.  I got this gloss for about $7 on clearance, so I'm happy with it for the price. If you are looking for more natural makeup, Lavera may be a good brand to try out.

Tried it? Loved it? Hated it? Let me know in comments!

{Review} Biore Restore Skin-Boosting Night Serum

Biore Skin-Boosting Night Serum

Biore is a company I've got a love hate relationship with. On the one hand, a lot of their products are great. I think they have a few very good products that don't get the credit they deserve. However, I also feel that some of their products are ineffective and a lot more hyped up then they should be (ahem, pore strips). That and they changed their packaging!! I liked the green, loved it!! Now it's blue and white and bulkier in my opinion and more, I don't know, high school ish. If they are trying to appeal to a younger audience, I can see how that would be a good thing, but it doesn't appeal to me. Not to mention the majority of their more adult products (SPF moisturizer, eye gel, etc) are discontinued. According to their website, they no longer carry a single moisturizer. WHAT??? How is that even possible given that they've got like four or five cleansers/scrubs? I don't get it. That being said, I've seen a lot of their products cropping up in Big Lots so I've purchased a few of the past couple of months, and will be reviewing them and/or stocking up.

Biore Skin-Boosting Night Serum

Ok, so enough ranting about Biore, onto the review. This product is a night serum which can be used alone or underneath a moisturizer. The purpose of this product is to give you a more rested appearance in the morning (though you can also use it in the AM). I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Biore Skin-Boosting Night Serum-Swatch

The product itself is a clear, thin gel like consistency. Not really a gel because it does run, but it's get completely like water either. It feels very cool to the touch and a little goes a very long way.

I think to understand why I love this product you have to know a little about me. I'm a nursing student. Meaning, I have no life because nursing school is HARD. On top of that, last semester I worked not one, but TWO part time jobs. Not only did I have no life, I had no sleep either. By the end of the semester it got so bad that I was pulling three to four all nighters a week! That's crazy, even for me. Needless to say, I looked absolutely horrible in the mornings. Imagine large, dark bags under my eyes, dull, red splotchy skin, crazy hair, and dead puffy eyes. Ya, it got that bad. I would use this stuff with the Biore Enliven Cooling Eye Gel in the mornings after cleansing my face and somehow, just somehow, I resembled something living after I was done with my morning care routine. I don't really know what they put in this stuff, but it is AMAZING. My skin would look bright and fresh and healthy, and most importantly not greasy! This stuff is a very light moisturizer, but it packs a punch. It got rid of my splotchy red cheeks and brightened the dullness around my chin, all the while making my skin feel very very soft. It absorbs very quickly and just feels nice. I stored it in the fridge (even in the winter) because that extra pop of freshness was much needed. I would even mix some with my foundation to make the perfect correcting tinted moisturizer on even lazier days. It does exactly what it says it will which is why I'm in love!

I don't really have any criticisms for this product. It doesn't really have too much of a scent, just a very light one that dissipates very quickly, I love the pump, especially how it doesn't have a cap. When you want to close it, just turn the pump to the side and it's completely closed. I've never had a problem with leaking or anything like that. The pump is very nice, very easy to control and you can pump out as little or as much as you'd like. The only thing I really don't like is that you don't get much at all, only 1.4 fl oz (41 ml), but then again this is a serum, and they are usually smaller and more expensive than moisturizers. Other than that, Biore did discontinue this product as well (but you can get it on their Amazon page), so if you can find it at a Big Lots, get it because it is amazing!

Tried it? Loved it? Hated it? Let me know in comments!

{Haul} I got a new watch!

New watch!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there! Just a quick little haul! I stopped by Kohls last week. Now, I don't even know why I went in there. I haven't been to Kohls since forever, maybe freshman or sophomore year of high school!!I don't have anything against the store, but it kinda gives me a very JCPenny or Sears vibe and I find that I get much better deals on nicer clothes at Marshalls or TJ Maxx or Target. But anyway, I went in, browsed for a while, and ended up in the jewelry/watch/beauty section, and in a little basket found this GEM!!!

It's a really pretty rose gold chronograph watch (the little ones are only for show cuz the watch is a cheapie), with a single row of diamonds around the face. It's a no name brand for Kohls and only cost me $20 on sale (originally $29.99). I was so freakin happy because the very very nice woman at the counter who helped me resized it for free. She took out 3 links, and I actually ended up going back to a different Kohls a couple days later to get a fourth link taken out (again for free) because it was still a little big on me. Both women who helped me were super nice, knew what they were doing, and took their time helping me even though the watch I bought was probably one of the cheapest ones there. Overall, I am very very happy with this watch and the experience in Kohls and I think I might actually go back to the makeup section again because there was a tinted moisturizer that caught my eye ;)

And Michelle, thank you so much for your recommendations! Let me know what you think of this one!

I actually bought quite a few other things these past couple weeks and I'll post a haul in a few days. I took some pictures that unfortunately came out pretty bad because it's been really rainy and cloudy where I live.

{Random} I need a new watch!

The one I've been using for the past year and a half is from Target, but I got it at Big Lots on clearance for only $8 (plus $20 to get it resized). I accidentally forgot to take it off when doing yard work and got some poison ivy or something on it, so now every time I wear it I get a little bit of an itchy rash on my wrist.

I'm on the hunt for a replacement, but I haven't found anything I like yet. Any suggestions? I want something that looks similar to this watch, is in the same price range (anything under $50 is fine), and isn't too blingy cuz I've to wear it to clinical. Let me know if you have any ideas!!!

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and finally get a rose gold Michael Kors or Marc Jacobs one for my birthday in October. Right now I just need something casual for every day that I don't have to worry about scratching or accidentally getting wet or anything like that.

So let me know if you've got any suggestions in comments! Thanks!!!

P.S. I'm posting from my phone so I can't chance the size of the pic :(
