{EOTD} Navy Clubbing Eyeshadow!

I feel like it's been ages since I've posted an EOTD, so here is one! A few friends and I went out last night and this is what my makeup looked like! I went for a navy smoky eye. I did add liner along the waterline later, but I don't have pics of that :( But yea, I went for dramatic, dark, and sexy! And I used my Sephora ColorPlay 5 in 1 Palette!

Products Used:
ELF Eyeshadow Primer (review coming soon)
Sephora ColorPlay 5-in-1 Palette

{EOTD} Simple Smokey

I decided to go for a simple smoky look. Just two shadows, a liner, and mascara! I went for something smoky but also subtle with a blended out wing. I like to have some winged eyeliner on because it does elongate my eyes and make them look bigger. I think it can be a bit too much sometimes so I blended it out a bit. And I wanted a bit of a warmer eye, too. Let me know what you think!

Sorry it looks a bit messy. I took the pics just before taking my makeup off before bed cause I didn't have time in the morn :(

Lancome Eyeshadow in Aspen Nights
Shiseido Liner in Black

{EOTD} Wearable Tropical Using Sephora's Color Play 5-in-1 Palette!

I've been dying to try out a tropical look, but I never had the right colors to do it until now! It's more of a wearable/sedate look, but all of the eyeshadows are from the Sephora 5-in-1 Color Play Palette! For this look I used most of the shadows wet, with out a base.

Excuse the mascara smudge :( Didn't notice at the time.

As you can see, the colors are pretty vibrant!

Products Used:
Sephora Color Play 5-in-1 Palette (A Nod To Mod)
Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Black

I used these shades from the A Nod To Mod palette!

More EOTD's with this palette to come!

Another {EOTD} Using Mac's Coral Crepe Paint Pot!

I went for something pretty simple, bronzy, ans wearable. I love pairing purple with either oranges or bronzes because it looks stunning on blue eyes, really making them pop! I know Coral Crepe isn't the easiest color to pull off because it can look a bit orange on some skin tones, but paired with the right colors it is surprisingly wearable!

Excuse the odd clumpy lash. I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't notice :(

I used Coral Crepe a lot lighter in this look than I did in my Mickey Contractor inspired look, which is why you don't really see as much orange. I'll post comparison swatches of Coral Crepe to something else later on!

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Mac Paint Pot in Coral Crepe
Shiseido Hydro-Powder Eyeshadow in Tigers Eye
Mac Eyeshadow in Beauty Marked
Lancome Artliner in Plum
Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Black

{EOTD} Inspired By MAC Mickey Contractor

This super bright EOTD was inspired by two of the colors in the Mac Mickey Contractor collection, Rani, a bright pink and Saffron, a bright orange. I didn't buy anything from the collection, but I really did like the colors, so I used a couple of similar colors I already own, including Mac's Coral Crepe Paint Pot!

{EOTD} Antique Green and Jade!

It's been a while since I've posted an EOTD, simply because I haven't been wearing as much eye makeup in the past couple of months because my eyes have been really sensitive (because of my contacts) and I'd actually gotten an infection :( But here it is!!! I went for a smoky green look. I'm not really big on green, but lately I've been experimenting and I'll definitely post more!

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion (original)
Stila Eyeshadow in Jade
MAC Antique Green Pigment
Jemma Kid Eyeshadow in Vintage
Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Black (review coming soon!)

So I was at a conference this weekend that I had to dress business casual to, so I decided to do a smoky-ish not too over the top sophisticated look inspired by French makeup. All of the color products used are from Laura Mercier. I used my custom palette (reviewed here) so it was very compact and convenient!

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Laura Mercier Blush in Rose Bloog (crease)

Quick EOTD! Glowy Neutral with a Pop!

I've really been loving the blues these past couple of months, especially those with green undertones! They make my eyes look soooo blue! And glowy makeup is really nice before everyone goes matte for fall.

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Dior 5 Color Eye Palette in Earth Reflectin
Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Minx (Soooo pretty!)
Lancome Difinicils Mascara in Black

The stars of the look:

L to R: Dior Earth Reflection and Urban Decay Minx

Some swatches:

Dior Earth Reflection

Urban Decay Minx

I know that some people have been critiquing the Earth Reflection palette, saying that for $56 it's too neutral, the colors too much like what can be found at the drugstore for $5. True, but I guarantee you that you will not find a palette this stunning at the drugstore. You wont. And the formula of these shadows is perfect. They are not too powdery and very pigmented, not to mention shimmery. A little bit goes a long way. This palette will last you forever. I really like it cause it's so glowy. It makes my eyes look so gorgeous and is never too much despite the shimmer in it.

The Urban Decay liner in Minx is actually my first liquid liner from UD. I don't really use liquid liner all that much cause it's so easy to screw up, but the formula of these and the really skinny brush makes it really easy to apply. I know I have a little boo boo up top, but only cause I was in a hurry. I highly recommend these liners. I actually picked up Crash, a pale purple with silver shimmer, a couple of days ago and I'm liking it as much as I love Minx.

Idk if you noticed above but my hand had little red dots on it. Here's a closeup:

They're more obvious in real life. I tried a lotion, Dove Pro Age cause it's all my mother had on her and I really needed some. I had the worst reaction. For the past few weeks the backs of my hands have been red, itcy, flacky, and bumpy. Will never use again. Ever. It looks better now, but it was pretty bad a couple of weeks ago. My hands started to burn the second I put it on.

That's all for now! See you soon!

Quick EOTD!

I know, it's been a while since I've been here. Just got the laptop back and will try to post as much as possible in between classes. Sorry for the funky lighting in the pic. Idk what happened, but all the other pcis were blurry so it was this or nothing :( Anyway, I used three shadows: Nars Nepal, Urban Decay YDK and Electric. An odd combo, brown/bronze and matte blue, but they look gorgeous together! Oh, and ignore the bit of mascara on the inside. I didn't notice until I'd already taken the pics.

Here are the shadows:

CW from top: UD YDK, Nars Nepal, UD Electric

CW from top: UD YDK, Nars Nepal, UD Electric

Swatches:

L to R: Nars Nepal, UD YDK, UD Electric.

I'm really loving Nepal specifically because it's very multipurpose. I use it as a shadow, a highlighter all over my face, or a bronzer even. It looks very natural because it's not a garish white like many of the lighter highlighters on the market. And if I use it in the inner corners I get this pretty sultry look. Electric I've been using when I'm in a hurry but want some color. I usually just line my upper lash line, but I wanted to try something different this time so I diffused it around.

More coming soon!

Another Quick EOTD Using L.A. Colors 12 E/S Palette in Traditional

Just another quick EOTD using my L.A. Colors 12 E/S palette in Traditional, which was super cheap at $1(!!!). just to show how versatile it is, I went opposite of the last one. Last time I showed a bronzy day look, very warm toned. This time it's a smokier look that is cool toned, with lots of liner!

I've really been getting more use out of my Lancome Art Liner in Smoky. It's super easy to apply and isn't a pain to remove like other liquid liners. Not that it doesn't last, but it doesn't feel like I'm taking sand paper to my eyes when using a cloth to remove this one. I'll do a review on these liners one of these days. I've got quite a few of these.

Anyway, products used:
L.A. Colors 12 E/S Palette in Traditional
Lancome Art Liner in Smoky
CoverGirl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara in Black

Quick EOTD: Bronzy Look Using L.A. Color's $1 12 Eyeshadow Palette in Traditional

Just a quick EOTD. Ignore the smudged mascara (I was in a hurry :/ ) and my gross brows. I've since gotten them waxed and trimmed. The shadows in this palette are really good. I did this look without a primer in only two or three minutes. It's very quick an easy when you have all the colors you could possibly need/want right in front of you. You don't even have to think, haha! Again, I highly recommend!

Products Used:
L.A. Colors 12 E/S Palette in Traditional
Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara in Soft Black

From the pictures I bet you can tell what I think of the Define-A-Lash-Volume Mascara, which I tested a few times. What volume!? I have like ZERO lashes in the first pic! :(

EOTD: Teal Blues with Nars Misfit

First off, sorry for the bad quality. I quickly took these pics cause I was in a hurry and didn't pay attention to the setting :( Anyway, it's a teal blue-ish kinda seafoam green look. I know I've done some blue looks in the past, but I like blue. And it always makes a comeback in the summer. I'll post another look I did using just about the same products later this week!

Oh, and I'm not wearing mascara because my eyes have been killing me lately. I got contacts about a year ago and my eyes just don't like them. I'm trying out a new brand, but so far no luck :(

EOTD: Iced Lilac and Passion

So today's look was just a simple purple eye using only four products. Yeah, you heard me right. Only four products!!! I was in the mood for color this morn but didn't have much time so I went with a very simple and wearable combination of purples. And sorry in advance for the sorta fuzzy pics. These were taken on my old camera and the focus is kinda off, so its rally clear in some places but blurry in others.

Products Used:

L'Oreal Color Fresco Refreshing Eye Color in Iced Lilac (I think it's discontinued-I found it at Big Lots)
Clarins Summer Fever Kohl Powder Eyeliner in 02 (LE)
MakeUpForEver Aqua Eyes Eyeliner in 18L
Lancome Difinicils Mascara in Aubergine Royal (LE)

I was rummaging through my makeup stuff and found this palette from Lancome. I got it a while ago, put away and sorta forgot about it. I rally like the colors, so my next purple EOTD will be with this palette. The colors are so pretty!!!

The pallet is 04 Passion from Lancome.
